Hey!
This is a message from Minas. If you got the link to this website it probably means you know me already. In any case, here's a short presentation:
I'm Minas Vakaloudis, I'm from Greece and I was born in 1994. I've been working as a professional musician on stage and in the studio for the past 11-12 years. I've released a lot of music under my artistic moniker, Blebiru, and have taken part in multiple releases by other artists.
Parallel to all these, I've published two books and I've made a website about the history of blues music, a subject I'm really passionate about.
I'm also part of the team that runs Touchstone Atelier, in Utrecht, a magic place! Something between a studio, a venue, a home...
This website was made to help me organize all my teaching material and with the hope to help you on your way deeper into music and bass playing!
There's so much in here! PDFs with theory, exercises that focus either on technique or musicality, backing tracks I've made specifically for you to play over and lot's and lot's of links to videos with music and other inspirational stuff.
Feel free to explore this website and find the things that inspire you or help you with what you're currently working on. If you have questions or other thoughts, don't hesitate to contact me!

I'll see you in our lessons!

Learn a new song every week!
Try to figure it out by ear, but look online if you need help.
Write it down!
With every song, your ears get more trained to recognize chord progressions and clichés.
If you do this every week, you will learn 52 songs in a year. Not bad, right? :)

You can choose to work on whatever song you like, but here's a playlist of beautiful and accessible songs that you can pick from.
